WHAT REMINDS YOU THE WORD "LOFT" ?
In my opinion, this is a place that we have been able to transform while keeping the primary emotion of the construction, whether in its walls, in its location or even in its view. A loft is not a building, it is the emotion it exudes.
WHAT ARE YOUR AFFINITIES WITH THE WORD "LOFT"?
I really like what has been done at Cinecitta in Paris, the old Sernam warehouses. It has long been a question of razing it to build something else and it has finally been preserved, transformed. The framework is still there but inside we discover an incredible living space. A coworking and start-up development space is open there, another part houses restaurants. Everything has been done entirely with recycled furniture, it is a very convivial space that I find very successful. If I had the chance, I would definitely do something similar at Station F in Luxembourg.
